Umm how the hell did Stephen Fray get past security on to the plane?

I can’t even bring toothpaste in my carry on luggage without getting pat down and harassed!

I’m glad all the passengers and crew members are okay, but how the hell did this happen, really? And why is this to me, a case of Wag the dog?

I have a nagging suspicion that this bitch ain’t Jamaican the dude with “mental issues” may have wanted to leave the island for a legitimate reason (gunman a threaten fi kill him…too many baby mothers…notin a gwan pon di island still?). “Mental issues” as a reason just don’t suffice. Fray was also fully aware that the plane was leaving for Cuba, his intended destination. Oh, and isn’t it ironic how Canadian Prime Minister, Mr. Stephen Harper was in JA for the day? What was he meeting with Jamaican Prime minister Bruce Golding about? This story doesn’t settle well with me, we’ve seen this bullshit before *cough* 9/11 *cough*

Now the pressure will be on for Jamaica to tighten up on security. Let’s not forget this beautiful country, which happens to be a part of my rich heritage, is stricken with poverty and thrives on tourism, exports, and investments from former citizens who are spread across the globe. In order to tighten up on security you need the dollars. If JA had the dollars in the first place for a more sophisticated airport security system, would Fray be able to manoeuvre his way past security as easily as he did? -Probably not.

And how will this event affect the way the world looks at Jamaica? Will it make Jamaica a less popular vacation destination?

GI readers I know I’m posting late, but today has been one of those days!

Please leave your thoughts, because you know I love to know what’s on your mind!!!

So he couldn’t signal di plane, but he coulda row di boat,
