Blogging While Brown Pt.3: Video Highlights
July 1, 2009 2 CommentsOk so I’ve been sleeping on the conference posts, mainly because it was really an information overload and I was literally a walking zombie for all four and a half days of my mini vacation. I am still recovering!!!! And I have so much on the go right now, who knew this conference would change things for me the way it did.
Here is an excellent video with highlights from the Blogging While Brown conference. I show up like 2 times in the background looking raggedy, checking my blackberry, see if you can spot me.

Netroots: opened up my eyes. Did you know that the recent election was so successful due to mobile bloggers? Live footage, interviews, & easily accessible youtube, kept America informed. Bloggers use their blogs as a platform to raise awareness about important issues. I myself have recently jumped on board and joined The Red Pump Project. Forget depending on our major networks and people supposedly in high places…. we can start a movement from behind out monitors. ::pumps fist in the air::
Personal Branding: Hajj Flemmings is one cool cat. I learned so much about how to keep my brand consistent and further define my space. In February when I first posted I had no idea that the concept of the goddess would take off. Now that it has…how do I keep the momentum going? How do I build my community and keep your minds intellectually stimulated? I now know, and I am always open to helping any newbie bloggers out too!
Bloggerpreneurs: I listened intently to Angel Laws & Fredric Mitchell present. Not only are they both young like me, they were still learning and developing their blogs. I scribbled down the different ways to monetize Goddess Intellect. This may very well become a full time job for me soon!!!!
Ok, so this will probably be the end of my conference updates, for now!
Quick update: I will be interviewed on the BAP Living Radio show this Sunday evening. I’m mad excited and I hope you can join me! I will post more info on how/when to tune in, as well if you miss the show, I will be posting the link after so you can catch up.

Good stuff Tee, thanks for posting this! I just heard about this conference too! I want to learn more as well, but more about the Branding and website design…
They don’t go too much into webdesign..but there is a blogger boot camp held on the first day that goes over the basic technical aspects of setting up a blog.
You should def come out with me next year….I cant wait to hear where Blogging While Brown will be held next year..they are talking D.C…but dont quote me on that one
