What If?

Due to my laziness I was out late last night walking the dog. I let him loose in the park and noticed a white SUV parked across the street. I’m thinking ok, guess a couple is having sexy time. About five minutes later a white male 5’9, glasses, dressed in baggy construction worker attire hopped out of the car and started walking towards the park. He’s walking slowly. I quickly call my dog to me all the while I’m looking back over my shoulder and he’s walking real slowly. All …

The Shoot feat. Photographer Lee Guy

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to shoot with Torontonian photographer Lee Guy. I’ve wanted professional photographs of myself for awhile now because the self-portraits and cropped pics weren’t cutting it. I am not the type to just grab my camera go outside and have a friend shoot 100+ frames, I’m usually the one behind the camera or when I do take pics I’m in a group. I thought the shoot would be a breeze, I’d go in Sacha fierce it up for an hour and two and head …

It’s Not You, It’s Me

Today I deleted my twitter account. I set myself free of one of the most distracting social networking sites for a writer. It wasn’t easy to do. I generally like all of my twitter fam, we have mini discussions, share clever quotes , jokes and  I’ll throw parties some nights. Parties? It’s a bit on the pathetic side I know, but It kept me entertained.
Last night I began to weigh the pros and cons of being on twitter and found that my productivity (in life) has decreased, due to trending …

25 Things About Me That You should Know

I’ve been avoiding lists like these forever, but I found myself in the shower this morning just randomly listing things in my head about me that would surprise people and that I am proud of. So here it goes:

I am a homebody now but I used to be addicted to clubs
I was so addicted to clubs that I threw a few private parties of my own, charged at the door, arranged for Djs, all under the age of 18
I used to run track, but quit as I got older because …

Are You an Anti-Seducer?

I finally got a chance to read more of my book club selection The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene. Today I just had to go in on the topic of Anti-Seducers. I think that recognizing an anti-seducer is equally as important as recognizing types of seducers. Greene writes that we all have anti-seductive qualities in our personalities that are brought out by our insecurities. The difference between a chronic anti-seducer and common man is that they fail to work past these insecurities to the point where they are oblivious …

Rewind: Miss New Booty

Hi again, so lots going on in this world today boy! I woke up this morning to the news which has turned into nothing more than a listing of natural disasters and a bunch of lies from the government for me. I usually never tune into the news unless I need to know the weather, but as a blogger, writer and high-heel wearing superhero it’s important for me to keep up to date with current events. News recently broke that former Miss Argentina and supermodel Solange Magnano died from complications …

Open letter: Rings and Babies (Holiday Edition)

Below is just a little letter I’ve drafted to take with me on all Holiday outings. I will use this letter to answer folks that decide to ask me the dreaded “why is she single in her late twenties” questions. I figure that this year instead of blushing, sighing, rolling my eyes or shrugging, I’d distribute copies of this letter upon entry to any holiday function. It saves me having to repeat myself and allows me to get all liquored up and happy in a shorter amount of time. It’s a tear …
